Types of Boats
RUNABOUTS
RUNABOUT is a small motor boat holding between four and eight people, used for very short trips, local transportation, and general watersport activities, such as family water-skiing and day cruising on inland waterways.
Runabouts can be used for racing, for pleasure activities like fishing and water skiing, or as a ship’s tender for larger vessels. Some common runabout boats are bow rider, center console, cuddy and walkaround.

PONTOON BOATS
A pontoon is a flat-bottomed boat or the floats used to support a structure on water.Pontoon Boats are no longer floating platforms that slowly grind cross the water. They can be anything from seaworthy family centers for fun in the sun. These boats are a place for a social event. They are designed for a group of family and friends to go out on the water and enjoy a wide range of activities together. At the same time, they are so versatile that most of them can well serve as a solid fishing platform

It may be simply constructed from closed cylinders such as pipes or barrels or fabricated as boxes from metal or concrete. These may be used to support a simple platform, creating a raft. A raft supporting a house-like structure is one form of houseboat.
INFLATABLE BOATS
An inflatable boat is a lightweight boat constructed with its sides and bow made of flexible tubes containing pressurised gas. For smaller boats, the floor and hull beneath it is often flexible. On boats longer than 3 metres/10 feet, the floor often consists of three to five rigid plywood or aluminium sheets fixed between the tubes but not joined rigidly together. Often the transom is rigid, providing a location and structure for mounting an outboard motor.
Some inflatable boats have been designed to be disassembled and packed into in a small volume, so they can easily stored and transported to water when needed. Here the boat when inflated is kept rigid crossways by a foldable removable thwart. This feature allows such boats to be used as liferafts for larger boats or aircraft, and for travel or recreational purposes.

Inflatables are commonly between 2 and 7 metres (6 to 21 feet) long and are propelled by outboard motors of 5 to 80 horsepower (4 to 60 kW). Due to their speed, portability and weight, inflatable boats are used in diverse roles:

DECK BOATS
“DECK BOAT” is a boat with a higher ratio of open deck area and a higher passenger capacity than their cousin, the “RUNABOUT
Deck boats one of the most practical small pleasure boats available today. They are not a slug – they perform like a runabout.
Deck boats generally have fiberglass hulls although there are some made of aluminum.
Most of deck boars are come with bimini tops so you can choose whether to be in the sun or the shade. If you don’t have one they make a great accessory!

These vessels offer a huge seating area and can often accommodate as many people onboard as pontoon boats. Thats why deck boats make for great family fun as most can carry the entire family with ease. But, they have a fast, maneuverable V-bottom hull that skims over the water much like a bowrider, so they can be used for tow sports, fishing, cruising, and more. They are powerful, too, so deck boats are excellent choice for skiing, tubing and wakeboarding or just ideal for stirring a breeze in a long cruise
SAILBOATS
A sailboat or sailing boat is a boat propelled partly or entirely by sails. The term covers a variety of boats, larger than small vessels such as sailboards and smaller than sailing ships, but distinctions in size are not strictly defined and what constitutes a sailing ship, sailboat, or a smaller vessel (such as a sailboard) varies by region and culture.

BASS BOATS
What is a Bass boat?
A fast, two-seater, fully armed and specialized fishing machine.
usually in freshwater such as lakes, rivers and streams. The modern bass boat features swivel chairs that permit the angler to cast to any position around the boat, storage bins for fishing tackle and equipment such as rods and lures, and a live well with recirculating water where caught fish may be stored and kept alive.
